mates and generally have a great night, we have some top-notch sounds to make
sure your evening goes with a swing.
Here are some of the folk who are going
to entertain you, Give them a big hand.
The Caley Buoys
A father and son team, they take
their name from their love of the sea and maybe the best wee hotel in the world,
Beauly's Caledonian Hotel.
Fish Feathers McTeeth
Folk supremo Sandy Mathers takes on his
alter ego to offer up a great blend of toe-tapping tunes, ballads and sing-along
classics.
Gibby McNaught
This man needs no introduction to
North-east audiences. He is a master of the folk tradition and always a welcome
sight and sound on any stage. Enjoy.
No Hot Ashes
A night of music isn't complete
without a session of blues and rock. A big welcome then to this local outfit
whose unforgettable riffs go perfectly with a few pints.
Richard Hannay And The Thirty
Nine Steps
No, not the John Buchan classic, but
just as thrilling. Putting some class into contemporary tunes we expect these
guys to win new fans during the festival.
Twa Folk (Irene Watt and
Graham
White)
We make no apologies for harping on
about this top duo. Warm voices blend seamlessly with beautiful strings to
breathe new life into Scots favourites. A treat.
The KG Influence
The coolest jazz sounds around as
this popular duo bring mellow classics to the real ale festival. One to be
savoured.
All Ale The Jazz
In true X Factor style, we've put
together the cream of the North-east's jazz talent to create our own supergroup.
This is a unique chance to hear the finest proponents of jazz playing just for you.
Scott Baxter and Angus McCurrach
This talented duo make up one third
of The Trybe - along with festival entertainment director Iain "Skirlie"
McFadden. Scott and Angus will keep your toes tapping as you wet your
whistle.
